Building 600 is one of nine separate buildings that make up the Keithley Middle School campus. This project enlarged the student commons area to handle the growing student population, created a central kitchen for the District and improved the school’s stage and performance capabilities.

School remained open during construction, requiring extensive control and zoning of the area around Building 600 to maintain safety and allow construction to progress effectively.

This required highly detailed coordination and phasing with a heavy dose of field investigation.

With this remodel and addition, Building 600 became the new entry and identity for the Keithley Middle School campus and a kick-off for future new facilities in the district.
