Riverview Learning Center

Located one block east of Carnation Elementary, the new Riverview Learning Center provides a superior teaching and learning environment for the district’s alternative learning experience and homeschool programs. The Riverview Learning Center consists of classrooms, science labs, computer labs, S.T.E.M. program classroom laboratories, conference rooms, and other multipurpose spaces. The district estimates that 200 students attend the four alternative programs available at the Center – PARADE, S.T.E.M., CLIP and CHOICE.

Prior to construction of the Riverview Learning Center, these programs had been hosted in miscellaneous buildings and portable classrooms around the district. The Learning Center brings them all together under one roof with state of the art classroom facilities.
