Rochester Community Center

In 2008, the Rochester School District was awarded a state block grant to renovate portions of the former Rochester Primary School into a multi-use community support facility that would also house the Rochester School District Administration. The majority of work was done on the portion of the building constructed in 1936, which was on the Thurston County Historic Register.

As a multiuse facility, the Rochester Community Center now houses a community library, food bank, Boys & Girls Club, the Thurston County Sheriff department, Chehalis Tribal Police and the Rochester School District Administration Center.
