The Bethel Learning Center is a multi-functional facility serving the Bethel School District and surrounding community. EMA designed the facility to be extremely flexible. Users are able to open and close walls to allow for both small and large group functions.
The first phase of the project was a 5,567 square foot single story building featuring three large group rooms that can be combined using operable partitions for multiple space layout options and a full kitchen for food service. The lighting system for the Learning Center was designed to utilize natural daylighting wherever possible, reducing electrical use. The main entry area is warm and welcoming with a sitting / reading area and fireplace.
The rear exterior wall assemblies for the Bethel Learning Center were designed to be explosion proof due to the proximity of a nearby gas main.
